November 16th Meeting
We are having a meeting on Monday night the 16th of November with County
Councilmember Roger Berliner to discuss many issues. It will be at North Chevy Chase Elementary at 7:00 PM. North Chevy Chase is located at 3700 Jones Bridge Road in Chevy Chase.
The meeting will also include the Chief Engineer for WSSC who will discuss
Water main Improvements,
March 3 Meeting Highlights
The guest was Montgomery County Councilmember Howard Denis. He discussed recent tax increases.
He said that the County Budget was 50% for the County Department of Education.
A letter was sent on behalf of Coquelin Run Citizens Association and the Village of Chevy Chase and the Village of North Chevy Chase to County Executive Doug Duncan.
Ther were many residents who were extremely concerned about the dangerous road improvements (suicide lane at Jones Bridge Road and Brierly.) Many Citizens have had near misses. Councilmember Denis pledged to assist us in improving the situation. A letter was Sent to Doug Duncan asking for his help on belhalf of Coquelin Run.

CRCA Candidates Forum
The District 18 candidates for state senator and
delegates made presentations to the Coquelin Run Citizens Association at our meeting on
Wednesday September 4, 2002 at North Chevy Chase Elementary School.
